A warm and inviting scent, Karpo is a complex and mouthwatering autumn scent that begins with notes of butter and orange peel, then blends in accords of scrumptious caramel and pumpkin. A nutty, pecan aroma lingers on the dry down with hints of apple cider, vanilla, and wassail. This warm and inviting gourmand scent will fill any space with the aromas of the season.
This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including orange, lemon oil, cedarwood, and buchu.

MYTHOS
Karpo was one of the three original Horae, or Hours, in Greek mythology. The Horae were the goddesses of the seasons and the natural portions of time as they presided over the revolutions of the heavenly constellations by which the year was measured. Their three sisters, the Moirae, spun out the web of fate.
Ancient Greeks initially recognized only three seasons-- spring, summer, and autumn. Thus initially only three Horae represented the seasons of the year, as well as the stage of plant growth that marked off and measured each seasons. Thallo was known as the bringer of blossoms and was the goddess of spring and blooming, as well as the protector young people. Auxo, known as the protector of vegetation and plants, was the goddess of growth and fertility.
Karpo was linked to autumn, as she was known for bringing fruitful ripening and harvesting. Karpo was also the guardian of the path that led to Mount Olympus and ensured that it was veiled behind cloud cover after the gods had entered or exited through the gates.
Our candles are hand poured in small batches and contain clean-burning premium soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, as well as fragrance and essential oil blends that are free from phthalates, carcinogens, toxins, animal ingredients, and colorants. Burn your candle for one hour the first time you light it to achieve an even burn and prevent future tunneling.
For a clean burn, trim wick before each use.
Ensure candles are on a suitable heat resistant surface when in use. Never leave a lit candle unattended or alone with children or pets, or near flammable items.
Our candle labels are curbside recyclable and are categorized under plastic category 4 LDPE, or low-density polyethylene.
The cardboard tube used to house our candles is curbside recyclable under Cardboard PAP-20.
Our amber glass containers are curbside recyclable under the Mixed Glass category, GL-70.
